Designed and launched goal-based saving feature for Flourish Cash
Problems
Advisors were increasingly asking for goal-based saving tools as competitors adopted “Buckets” and similar features. We needed to ship a credible savings-goal experience quickly to stay competitive and unlock future product opportunities.
Outcomes
Within 48 hours of launch, 550 accounts created Buckets. Advisor feedback was strongly positive, particularly around ease of setup and transfers. Adoption of the “HomeBuying” bucket with goals set over $250K across one month has set valuable signal for the home purchasing product feature launch in 2026.
My contributions
I designed the end-to-end bucket transfer experience, partnered with another designer to refine the bucket creation and management flow, and conducted usability testing with friendly advisors and clients to validate UX clarity. Post launch, I continuously worked with FE engineers to debug bucket management flow based on usage.
